Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of ClaimBot AI (the “Service”). By using the Service — including the free analysis — you agree to them. Please read section 2 carefully: ClaimBot is a document tool, not a law firm.

1. Who we are

The Service is operated by Martin Ayer, Riehenring 65, 4058 Basel, Switzerland (“we”, “us”). Contact: claimbot.app@gmail.com.

2. What ClaimBot is — and is not

ClaimBot AI is an automated document formatting tool (“AI Document Assistant”). You describe a dispute with a company or upload the company's reply; the Service produces an automated analysis and, if you pay, a formal letter template that you can review, edit and send yourself.

  • No legal advice. We are not a law firm and not lawyers. The Service does not provide legal advice, does not review your individual situation as a lawyer would, and does not replace a licensed attorney.
  • No representation. We do not act on your behalf, do not contact the company for you, and no lawyer–client relationship is created.
  • No guaranteed result. Whether a company pays, refunds or changes its decision is outside our control. We do not promise any outcome or amount.
  • You decide and you send. You are responsible for checking the letter, its facts, amounts and legal references, and for deciding whether and how to send it.
  • Deadlines. Legal time limits may apply to your claim. The Service does not monitor them. For urgent matters, court proceedings, high amounts or complex cases, consult a licensed professional or a consumer-protection organisation.

3. Who can use ClaimBot

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract. The Service is intended for individuals handling their own consumer disputes. You may only use it for disputes that concern you, or someone who has authorised you to act for them.

4. Accounts and guest use

You can start as a guest. Guest access is linked to your browser: if you clear its data or change device, you may lose access to your claims. Creating an account (email and password or sign-in link) keeps your claims available from any device. Keep your sign-in details confidential; you are responsible for activity under your account. You can delete your account at any time in My account.

5. AI-generated content

The analysis and letters are generated automatically by artificial intelligence based on the information you provide. They may contain errors, omissions or outdated references, and may not reflect the latest law in your country. Treat them as a starting point. The quality of the result depends on the accuracy and completeness of what you provide.

6. Prices and payment

  • The analysis is free. Unlocking the full letter for one claim costs the price shown before payment, in your local currency where available (for example USD 14.99, EUR 14.90, CHF 14.90 or GBP 12.99), as a one-time payment. There is no subscription.
  • Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details. Your bank may charge currency conversion fees.
  • The price shown at checkout is the total you pay.
  • Promotional codes can be entered on the payment page. They apply to one claim, cannot be exchanged for cash and may expire or be limited in number.
  • The letter is delivered in your account, normally within a few minutes after payment.

7. Right of withdrawal and refunds

Consumers in the EU/EEA and the United Kingdom

You normally have a right to withdraw from an online contract within 14 days. Because the letter is digital content supplied immediately, before paying you are asked to expressly agree that we start right away and to acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once the letter has been supplied. If you do not give this consent, you cannot complete the purchase. This is permitted by Article 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU and regulation 37 of the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

Consumers in Switzerland and elsewhere

Swiss law does not provide a general right of withdrawal for online purchases.

Our refund commitment (everyone)

  • If we fail to deliver your letter because of a technical problem on our side, we refund you in full.
  • If you were charged twice or by mistake, we refund the incorrect charge.
  • Write to claimbot.app@gmail.com within 30 days of payment. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights regarding faulty digital content.

8. Edits and rewrites

After payment, you can edit the wording of the letter yourself and correct short details you entered (for example your address, a date or a reference number) as often as you like. You are responsible for any text you change or add. Changing the letter language or the instructions language, adding or removing a detail, changing an answer written in sentences, or asking for changes in your own words requires the letter to be rewritten by the AI; this is included up to 5 times per claim. A rewrite produces a new version that replaces your own edits.

9. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • make claims you know to be false, exaggerated or fraudulent, or submit invented or altered documents;
  • threaten, harass, defame or intimidate anyone, or target private individuals;
  • impersonate another person, or act for someone without their authorisation;
  • break the law, infringe others' rights, or upload content you have no right to share;
  • overload, attack, scrape, reverse-engineer or bypass the security or usage limits of the Service, including by automated means.

We may refuse, suspend or delete content or accounts that breach these rules.

10. Your content and our rights

You keep all rights in the documents and information you provide and in the letters generated for you. You grant us the limited permission needed to store and process this content to provide the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy. The Service itself — its software, design, texts and the ClaimBot name — belongs to us and may not be copied or reused without permission.

11. Liability

  • We provide the Service with reasonable care. Because it is a document tool that produces AI-generated templates, we are not liable for the outcome of your claim, for decisions you or a company make based on a letter, or for errors you could reasonably have spotted when reviewing it.
  • To the extent permitted by law, our total liability towards you in connection with a claim is limited to the amount you paid for it.
  • These limits do not apply to liability that cannot be limited by law, in particular for intent or gross negligence (art. 100 Swiss Code of Obligations), for death or personal injury, or under mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence.

12. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the Service available but cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may improve, change or discontinue features. If we discontinue the Service, we will give reasonable notice so you can download your letters.

13. Ending the relationship

You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms; where reasonable we will tell you why. Letters you already paid for remain yours.

14. Applicable law and disputes

  • These terms are governed by Swiss law, excluding its conflict-of-laws rules and the Vienna Sales Convention.
  • If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of your place of residence (for Switzerland, art. 32 Swiss Civil Procedure Code; for the EU, Regulation (EU) No 1215/2012).
  • Before going to court, please contact us: most issues can be solved quickly by email.

15. Additional terms for users in the United States

  • ClaimBot is not a law firm and is not licensed to practise law in any U.S. state. Using the Service does not create an attorney–client relationship, and communications with us are not protected by attorney–client privilege.
  • The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Some states do not allow these disclaimers or limitations, so they may not fully apply to you.
  • Nothing in these terms waives rights you have under the consumer protection laws of your state that cannot be waived by contract.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms, for example when the Service or the law changes. The date at the top shows the latest version. Purchases are governed by the terms in force when you paid. For significant changes affecting account holders, we will inform you by email or in the Service.
